As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Perimeter Assessment in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $24.10 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government transportation facilities and surrounding areas.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public agency representatives as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, platforms, public areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to designated areas, assist with visitor directions and general inquiries, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and maintain professional communication with site personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
