As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol X Ray Screening in Romulus, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, support access control, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter of the logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing vehicle and pedestrian activity, and documenting visitor and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns through a visible presence, observation, and timely reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
