Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer for an Amazon Warehouse in Concord, NC. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires 18+ years old, strong observation skills, and the ability to work a night schedule listed in the posting. This position is full-time and pays $18.36 per hour with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background checks required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner and communicate information to site contacts and leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports and patrol documentation following post orders and client policies.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol X Ray Screening at Amazon Warehouse in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Using a computer or tablet, you may support security-related reporting and screening activities while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify visitor and contractor credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while following applicable post orders and client policies.

Minimum Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
