This full-time position offers a pay rate of $18.36 per hour, with shift coverage: days and nights in a 24/7 schedule. You will support access control, respond to incidents, and document shift activities for

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers while enforcing site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, professional problem-solving; notify appropriate contacts or responders.
• Prepare clear activity, incident, and shift reports for Allied Universal leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Patrol Badge Services at Amazon Warehouse in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors while supporting access control and site operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
