Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Credential Services at Amazon Warehouse in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming experience through professional communication and customer service while reporting observations and responding to alarms as needed. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, exterior areas, parking locations, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, reporting maintenance or operational concerns, and following Allied Universal and client site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
