Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Documentation in Falls Church, VA. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff in a healthcare setting.

You will use tablet-based documentation, respond to incidents per protocols, and complete accurate activity reports. The role requires being 18+ (21+ for armed roles), HS diploma, background check, and CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• HS diploma or equivalent required; background check per law.
• Drug screen may be required; licensing may apply by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, medical emergencies and disturbances per protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor management and reporting of unusual conditions.
• Complete accurate activity reports and shift communications per site requirements.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, patient care areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and reporting of unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
