Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through routine rounds, teamwork, and integrity while supporting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $22.04 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements, maintaining accurate logs and reporting unauthorized access concerns.


• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities clearly and promptly, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
