Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Chantilly, VA. You will serve and safeguard clients across aerospace/defense locations, maintain a visible presence, and report observations with clear communication.

You will provide outstanding customer service while supporting a professional environment. This role offers a flexible Part Time schedule with pay rate of $22.04 per hour, a daytime and weekend rotation, and opportunities to grow through our Claim

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and personnel at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations with calm, problem-solving approach, escalating information through reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and first responders while supporting site-specific security operations.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
