Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Falls Church, VA for a full-time, unarmed role at an aerospace/defense site. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and report incidents with a focus on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard card/license preferred; driver's license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly according to post instructions and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities per site requirements.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Clearance Patrol Assessment in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative Allied Universal team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.24 / Hour

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
