Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, loading docks, parking areas, and shipping and receiving locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies; report unusual activity, damaged property, and/or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare clear and timely activity, incident, and/or shift reports in support of daily operations at a logistics and distribution location.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Risk Reduction in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while reporting observations and responding to routine needs.
