Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as part of the employment process.
• Drug screening may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor activity per site procedures.
• Prepare clear incident and patrol reports and communicate findings to site contacts and leadership.

Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of operational areas, buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
