The position is full-time with day shifts and a pay rate of $18.69 per hour. The officer will patrol, verify credentials, respond to alarms, and document incidents, while maintaining a professional presence and following site procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where allowed by law.

As a Security Officer Access Point Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, manage access control, and support badge-related activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused campus by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and supporting a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
