Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Charlotte, NC. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide customer service to tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors and staff following site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and access concerns in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular/unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report hazards or maintenance issues to relevant personnel.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation per site requirements.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office buildings, parking areas, common areas, loading docks, and the surrounding property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
