Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Response in Memphis, TN. You will protect clients, patrol interiors and exteriors, monitor access, and deliver excellent customer service on a night shift schedule.

Position requires at least 1 year of security experience and a valid driver’s license where driving is involved. CPR/First Aid is preferred, and background checks will be conducted as with all Allied Universal roles.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including offices, production or logistics spaces, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials as directed and report access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as required.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

• Sat: 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
