Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Readiness in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of residential common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with community policies, maintaining accurate visitor, incident, and shift activity records.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help maintain a professional presence at the location by observing and reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related issues to site management.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
