Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for full-time, unarmed patrol in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor a logistics and distribution site, provide exceptional customer service, and deter incidents with a visible presence.

Pay rate is $16.33 per hour. You will perform daytime shifts, communicate effectively, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Compliance with background checks and drug screening is required.

Qualificações

• Armed security experience required as a baseline credential.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers/tablets is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Unarmed roles require 18+; armed roles require 21+.
• Background checks and drug screening are mandatory where permitted by law.

Responsabilidades

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Reporting in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team‑focused, and integrity‑driven values.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, delivery‑related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, vehicle access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers, and report irregularities according to site‑specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have X‑ray screening experience, preferred.
• Have loss prevention experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
