Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Public Assistance in Chicago, IL. You will serve and safeguard clients across multiple industries, conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to security concerns while delivering exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring culture, with shifts including DayTime Tue 04:00 PM - 02:00 AM, Wed 04:00 PM - 02:00

Qualificações

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking locations, and surrounding perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for campus facilities, reporting unauthorized activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervisors, campus personnel, and emergency responders as needed.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do
