Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; document and report access concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by procedures.
• Prepare clear activity logs and incident reports, and communicate information during shift handoffs for continuity.

Job Description

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading zones, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site procedures; document and report access concerns, incidents, and maintenance issues.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs to support continuity of security-related operations.

Minimum Requirements

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
