Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Lock Verification in Charlotte, NC. You will protect clients across various industries, perform routine unarmed patrols, and provide exceptional tenant and visitor service while maintaining a visible security presence and reporting observations.

Day-to-day duties include patrolling, monitoring access, assisting with directions, and communicating with site contacts and responders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing may be required per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site policies and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and tenant concerns in a calm, professional manner and document observations per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interiors, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building inquiries.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed regarding security-related incidents or concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Lock Verification in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to tenants and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property interiors, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building inquiries, and help maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
• Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed regarding security-related incidents or property concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
