Job summary

Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observer to protect clients at a premier retail and mixed-use destination. You will monitor, patrol, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, observing activity, coordinating with site management and responders, and completing reports.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and guests by following site procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail destination.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting security concerns and maintenance issues per site procedures.
• Collaborate with site management, retail personnel, emergency responders, and leadership while completing required reports.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Observer in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and shopping destination, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

• Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and/or guests by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mixed-use destination.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site procedures.
• Collaborate with site management, retail personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
