As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Identification in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service while responding to security-related concerns and helping promote a secure atmosphere.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Tue: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Wed: 06:00 PM - 02:00 AM
• Fri: 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, access control procedures, and communication with appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
