Allied Universal in Miami, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Facility Observation to safeguard tenants and visitors at a premier commercial real estate location.

You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, respond to incidents, monitor access points, and document activities. The role requires at least 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma, plus background checks in accordance with laws.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Background history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and systems.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building common areas, parking facilities, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately through required reports and communication systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
