Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for a Full Time Perimeter Patrol in Miami, FL. The role involves unarmed security across a premier retail and mall environment, patrolling, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, parking zones, and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and guests by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefronts, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, property personnel, retailers, and emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
