Allied Universal in Aiea, HI is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Dispatch. You will protect clients across Retail/Malls, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver courteous customer service to tenants and visitors.

A valid driver’s license is required per policy. This is a full-time, unarmed driving role with daytime and evening shifts; compensation is $23.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain detailed daily activity and incident reports and patrol logs.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Dispatch in Aiea, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and client representatives by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail common areas, parking facilities, entrances, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and prepare required documentation.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help support adherence to property rules and security‑related procedures.
• Maintain detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
