Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Marietta, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.23 / Hour

Valid Driver's License:Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:

• A current and valid license issued by the appropriate authority.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office areas, building interiors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.


• Communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
