Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Operations in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM


• Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM


• Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM


• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM


• Sun 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate store leadership and/or emergency services as needed.


• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stockroom areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.


• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.


• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
