Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Maple Grove, MN. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting site procedures and emergency responses.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of office areas and parking lots.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document actions.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate with leadership and client representatives.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license.

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology, media, and telecommunications office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting access concerns and security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and document observations and actions taken.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
