Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by following site-specific policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner and follow escalation procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and leadership regarding security concerns and follow-up.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, observations, and required follow-up.

Minimum Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
