Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer—Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver for its Fredericksburg, PA location. This role requires solid security experience, a valid driver’s license, and comfort with using a computer or tablet while performing site-specific security tasks.

The shift schedule includes multiple daily blocks, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour. You’ll conduct patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain incident logs as part of a professional team.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a food and beverage distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, parking lots, loading docks, trailers, and perimeter to report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry and exit for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify site contacts or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, complete incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

1. Security Experience:
   • Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should demonstrate the ability to handle security-related tasks and responsibilities effectively.
2. Valid Driver's License:
   • All candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require travel or transportation as part of job duties.
3. Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:
   • Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet (B204). Proficiency in basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms are crucial for effective communication and task management within the company.

• Fri – 05:30 AM - 11:30 AM
• Sat – 12:30 PM - 07:30 PM
• Sun – 12:30 PM - 07:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
