Allied Universal® in Cupertino, CA is hiring a Security Officer, Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver. You will protect clients, perform routine patrols, and boost safety while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, parking facilities, exteriors, and perimeter areas to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and customer concerns calmly, coordinating with management and emergency services as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and patrol logs while maintaining professionalism.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Cupertino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and visitors. This driving position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service, respond to security-related concerns, and communicate clearly while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, property damage, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with management and emergency services when appropriate.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol logs while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
