As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certification at Amazon Warehouse in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, support badge control, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Deliver exceptional customer service while using computers or tablets to document activity and communicate with team members. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking facilities, building perimeters, and exterior grounds to identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance issues.


• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or policy violations.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.


• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant observations during shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Alarm panel experience is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
