Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service at a technology-focused location.

Ideal candidates have basic computer or tablet skills, prior customer service experience, and are at least 18 years old with a high school diploma. You must pass a background check and drug screen; driving positions require a valid driver’s license where

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures while maintaining accurate logs and completing required documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Help maintain awareness of unusual activity, damaged property, or facility issues and promptly report observations through established communication channels.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Associate in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Use your communication skills and comfort with technology to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
