Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications Support in Whitsett, NC. You will protect a technology-focused site, monitor facilities, and assist with access control while delivering excellent customer service.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications Support in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to support daily operations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.89 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or guests at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrol findings, and other security-related activities while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
