Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Records in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and use technology to document activities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control protocols, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, while reporting unusual conditions or security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
