Allied Universal in Sunnyvale, TX, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Awareness. The role provides security coverage at a retail location with daytime/evening shifts and a pay rate of $18.54 per hour.

You will patrol, screen access points, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service while following site procedures. Minimum requirements include 1 year of security experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screening are

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, providing a visible presence that may help deter unauthorized access, theft, and other policy violations.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Awareness in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and loss prevention efforts. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with visitors and team members, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.
