Qualifications

• Five or more years of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Background on criminal history considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property areas to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow reporting procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unauthorized access.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs according to site procedures.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while responding to alarms and using technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building information, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
