Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/contractor entry records per site procedures.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, and security issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Report hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related issues to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
