• Monitor access points and delivery activity to deter unauthorized access or theft.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a grocery-related location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:30 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the grocery store, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, delivery activity, and customer traffic while supporting a welcoming environment and helping to deter unauthorized access or theft-related activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, emergency responders, and Allied Universal management as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
