Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate campus contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including building perimeters and parking locations.
• Monitor for unusual activity, facility concerns, and policy violations; document observations and incidents through accurate, timely reports.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and campus event support while helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a professional presence.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Nashville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a university location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents, manage access control, and support badge-related processes. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to students, staff, and visitors while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and campus event support while helping to deter unauthorized activity and maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
