Qualifications

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in Burlington, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and activity reports.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
