Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed Patrol Loss Prevention) in BEDMINSTER, NJ. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access points, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in security, preferred loss prevention experience, and the ability to use a computer or tablet. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and background/drug screening will be conducted.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Loss Prevention in BEDMINSTER, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, documenting observations and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and maintain professional communication with employees, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
