Qualifications

• Background check is required under federal, state, and local laws.

• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, staff support, and reporting of security incidents.
• Prepare clear and accurate patrol and incident reports.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 - $18.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Tue: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Fri: 08:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, staff support, and the reporting of security‑related incidents.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports regarding patrol activities, incidents, observations, and interactions with patients, visitors, and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
