Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare facility protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific requirements, reporting unusual activity and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and response actions accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.87 - $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Wed: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Thur: 03:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sat: 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
