Allied Universal in Fort Mill, SC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Guest Access. In this role you will serve and safeguard clients, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service at an automotive location during day/evening shifts.

You will perform patrols, verify credentials, report incidents, and assist with security-related needs while upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity, teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• High school diploma or equivalent required (background check).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Guest Accessin Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will use technology to document observations and assist with security-related needs while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven culture.

Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers at an automotive manufacturing or distribution location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, parking areas, vehicle lots, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor and vehicle entry records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
