Job summary

Allied Universal in Allentown, PA, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed First Aid Response Patrol. You will monitor, patrol, and provide exceptional customer service at a technology-focused facility, maintaining a visible presence and assisting employees and visitors.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification (preferred), 18+ years old for unarmed positions, and a HS diploma. You will conduct regular patrols, log entries, and respond to incidents per site procedures.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused facility.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate entry, incident, and activity logs.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports.
• Observe and report security-related concerns involving facility access, equipment areas, and property, following site procedures and Allied Universal reporting standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
