Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol in Cleveland, OH. You will monitor and safeguard clients across healthcare locations, deliver exceptional customer service, and maintain a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff as part of a collaborative team. Position Type: Full Time.

Pay Rate: $15.40 / Hour. Schedule includes Wed–Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigations required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required depending on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify hospital personnel or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters to identify unusual conditions.
• Assist with access control by observing entrances, verifying authorization, and reporting unauthorized access.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports.

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate hospital personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Assist with access control by observing entrances, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports related to incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
