Job summary

Allied Universal in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations to protect government facilities and other sites. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous customer service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas; verify authorized access as directed; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and maintain professional communication with site representatives and emergency responders.

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

• Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
