Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for a part-time, unarmed vehicle patrol role in Charlotte, NC. You will patrol, assist customers, and deter incidents at a retail location while maintaining a visible security presence and professional communication.

The position emphasizes flexible scheduling, shift claims via the Claim a Shift platform, and a commitment to safety, compliance, and exceptional service. Pay is $17.00 per hour with part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with access control, customer and employee interactions, and incident documentation in accordance with site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:
