Allied Universal in Orlando, FL, is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide unarmed security, access control, and customer service at a designated site. The role offers flexible scheduling with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Earn $18.00 per hour with benefits and paid training, supporting communities and customers we serve. Applicants must have at least one year in security, a valid driver’s license if required, and be 18+ (21+ for armed roles).

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Complete accurate activity logs and incident reports with professional communication.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orlando, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility operations areas, distribution facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, access‑control concerns, and potential hazards in accordance with site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with employees, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
