Job summary

Allied Universal in Columbus, OH is seeking a Security Officer for a full-time, unarmed driver patrol role at a retail location. You will monitor areas, deter incidents, and deliver customer service while adhering to site policies. The position requires a valid driver's license; alarm panel experience and CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Shift schedule includes nights; pay rate is $18.50 per hour. A background check and drug screen are part of the employment process.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and support for opening, closing, and high-traffic retail operations as assigned.
